ASTM A335 P12 is a seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe manufactured to ASTM A335 / ASME SA335 specification for high-temperature service. The P12 grade contains 0.80–1.25% chromium and 0.44–0.65% molybdenum, providing enhanced creep resistance and oxidation resistance at elevated operating temperatures up to 580°C.
These pipes are widely used in power generation plants, petrochemical refineries, and heat exchanger systems where elevated temperature and pressure conditions are encountered. P12 alloy steel pipes are also specified for steam lines, boiler headers, and superheater elements in thermal power stations.
Spark Steel supplies ASTM A335 P12 seamless alloy steel pipes in sizes from ½" to 24" NPS with wall thicknesses per Schedule 40 to Schedule XXS conforming to ASME B36.10. Hardness values up to 197 HB. End finishes available include plain end (PE), beveled end (BE), and threaded end (TE). Full MTR documentation and third-party inspection certificates supplied on request.
